Behaviour Support Worker

£110-£120 per day | Primary & Secondary SEMH School | South West LondonStart Date: ASAP

We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Worker to join a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school in the Wandsworth area. This is a contract position supporting pupils across both primary and secondary phases who present challenging behaviour.

• Provide 1:1 and small-group behaviour support
\n
• Implement de-escalation strategies and behaviour management plans
\n
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral leads
\n
• Support pupils with SEMH needs to engage positively in learning
\n
• Help create a safe, structured and encouraging environment
\n

\n
• Essential: Experience working with challenging behaviour (SEMH, PRU, youth work, residential, or similar)
\n
• Strong resilience, patience, and a calm approach
\n
• Ability to build trusting relationships with pupils
\n
• Confident in using behaviour strategies and de-escalation techniques
\n
• Available to start ASAP
\n
