Department Supervisor | Hounslow Salary: DOE Hours: Full time, Alternate weekends Are you an established supervisor looking for an opportunity within a business that has the potential for growth and progression? The business we're working with is a highly-regarded garden centre group, and they're looking for a motivated department supervisor to support the running of their seasonal & outdoor furniture department in one of their larger sites. About the role As a department supervisor, you will support the team by taking responsibility for the day-to-day management and performance of the department. You'll help lead, develop, and motivate your team, while ensuring the seasonal department runs smoothly and to a high standard. You'll think ahead to prep and plan for the next season, while making sure customer service and sales standards are high. Key responsibilities Supporting in leading and developing the team to deliver excellent service and great results Seasonal planning and merchandising Delivering sales targets and meeting KPI's Supporting the wider team day-to-day Providing advice to customers and setting high service standards Maintaining standards through creative and attractive merchandising, stock presentation, and promotional execution The ideal candidate Supervisory experience in a similar retail environment Hands-on and a proactive attitude A passion for customer service Product knowledge of seasonal products, including Christmas and outdoor furniture is desired If this sounds like an interesting opportunity, please contact Elleanna at for a conversation
