With three-year funding secured to deliver our ambitious Lincs 2030 vision, Lincolnshire Police are seeking an exceptional Director of Finance and Commercial with significant experience in senior strategic finance leadership, ideally within the public sector or a complex organisation.

• Play a critical role in shaping organisational strategy and decision-making at the highest level

• Ensure financial resilience, integrity, and sustainability across the force

• Lead a modern, forward-looking finance and commercial function

• Support the delivery of Lincs 2030, aligning resources to our future policing model

• You will act as a trusted strategic advisor to the Chief Constable and Chief Officer colleagues, in addition to maintaining an effective, cooperative and constructive working relationship with the Police & Crime Commissioner's (PCC's) Chief Finance Officer (CFO), to balance robust financial stewardship with ambition and innovation in the delivery of public services.

• Significant experience in senior strategic finance leadership, ideally within the public sector or a complex organisation
\n
• Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to maximise value, manage risk, and drive innovation
\n
• Proven ability to influence and operate effectively at executive and board level
\n
• Experience of leading change and contributing to major transformation programmes
\n
• A strong commitment to public service, integrity, and delivering impactful policing outcomes
\n
• You will combine technical credibility with strategic leadership, ensuring the organisation remains financially robust, efficient, and future-focused.
