Maintenance Joiners/Fabric Engineers, who will play a crucial role in ensuring the structural integrity and visual appeal of our clients' buildings. You will be responsible for conducting a wide range of maintenance, repair and refurbishment tasks on both joinery and fabric elements. This dual role requires versatility, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.\n

site-based opportunity located in
Castle Donington, Derbyshire, offering a
12-month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC) with a national facilities management organisation.\n
\n Package:\n
\n
\n - Competitive salary of £35,000 per annum
\n - Core hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)
\n - 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Responsibilities:\n\n
\n - Conduct inspections of building fabric elements, such as walls, ceilings, floors, and roofs, to identify and address maintenance needs
\n - Perform repairs and renovations on fabric components using appropriate materials and techniques
\n - Install, repair, and maintain joinery elements, including doors, windows, cabinets, and fixtures
\n - Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialised fabric-related services, such as upholstery repairs and other outsourced services
\n - Uphold cleanliness and appearance standards for fabric surfaces and finishes throughout the facility
\n - Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements to maintain a secure working environment
\n
Qualifications:\n
\n
\n - Qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Joinery/Carpentry (essential)
\n - Proven experience as a Maintenance Joiner, Fabric Engineer, or similar role within the facilities management industry
\n - Strong knowledge of building fabric materials, construction methods, and repair techniques
\n - Proficiency in conducting fabric repairs, joinery installations, and maintenance tasks
\n - Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
\n - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
\n - Effective communication and problem-solving skills
