Job Description: Welder / Fabricator / Sheet Metal Worker – Days Location: Bradford Pay Rate: £16.50 – £17.90 per hour (depending on experience) Type: Temp to Perm Swift Temps Engineering Bradford Team are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder / Fabricator / Sheet Metal Worker to join our client’s team. About the Role: We are looking for a fully competent sheet metal worker and welder/fabricator who can work both in the workshop and on-site as required. The successful candidate should have strong experience working within a precision fabrication or manufacturing environment, producing high-quality components from engineering drawings. You should be able to: * Work with mild steel and stainless steel * Operate workshop machinery including welding, bending, cutting and fabrication equipment * Work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a small team * Communicate effectively in customer-facing situations when required Key Responsibilities * Manufacture components from engineering drawings or verbal instructions * Fabricate and weld specialist and bespoke items to a high standard * Use a full range of workshop equipment safely and effectively * TIG welding of mild and stainless steel to a good standard * Carry out general sheet metal fabrication work in a busy workshop environment Essential Skills * TIG welding experience (mild steel and stainless steel) * Fully competent in sheet metal work and fabrication * Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings * Good all-round fabrication and workshop skills Working Hours * Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 4:30pm OR 7:00am to 4:30pm * Some Saturdays required during busy periods * Optional shifts available: 7:00am – 7:00pm, including weekends if you are wanting extra hours Click To Apply To send an up-to-date CV to Mcmillan Serrant at swift Temps or contact our Bradford office on (phone number removed).
